That’s why it makes sense to have the Maxima Physical Infrastructure team give your installed Cabling a thorough health check. We can test, inspect and certify your installed Cat5e or Cat6 cabling infrastructure, with a typical half-day on-site assessment giving us the opportunity to sample test up to 10% of a typical 300 -outlet installation.

Our Test, Inspect & Certify health check service provides you with the re-assurance you need, with tests including:

• A full Visual Inspection of installed cabling infrastructure and terminations. Our experienced engineers inspect your patch panel and user outlet terminations, checking for correct termination techniques that meet the manufacturers and international standards. With tolerances being particularly tight, and numerous failures occurring due to incorrect/poor termination practices, this is an essential inspection process
• Sample Testing – Maxima tests with Fluke, the leading cable analyser manufacturer, against Cat5e and Cat6 Standards. Tests are carried out against the standards laid down by national and international standards bodies, performing up to 15 different tests per cable, and will provide comprehensive test results.
• Instant Test Results
• Follow-up Analysis – a few days after testing, we will produce a more detailed analysis of the site inspection, findings and test results, with a report outlining our observations and any recommendations
• Free PatchSee Cords – as part of our health check we will also offer to provide free PatchSee Cords – these are distinctive patch cords that you can easily identify by shining a specialised torch down one end while the cords are connected. As part of our offer you can trial 24 of these cords, and keep them at no cost providing you go on to purchase a further 24 cords from Maxima Physical Infrastructure.

Maxima’s Test, Inspect and Certify cabling health check costs just £500.00 for our half-day on-site engineering assessment, and we will be happy to refund half of this charge (£250.00*) should you require any subsequent remedial work.
