QAD defines products and services to address the specific needs of customers within these markets and also within specific niches of these markets by working collaboratively with leading global manufacturers.

This industry focus allows QAD to deliver solutions tailored precisely to the needs of manufacturers in these specific niches.  For example, QAD focuses within the Automotive industry on addressing the needs of automotive parts manufacturers and through collaboration with our customers, QAD has developed a suite of functionality addressing specialized needs such as In-line Vehicle Sequencing (ILVS) with our Just-in-Time Sequencing (JIT/S) product, and Inventory Visibility and Interoperability (IV&I) with our collaborative on-demand Supply Visualisation product.

In all of QAD's vertical markets, we play an active role with both industry groups and standards bodies to ensure that we deliver capabilities to address regulatory compliance, embrace new manufacturing practices and above all, that we provide innovative solutions to enhance our customer businesses and provide and provide a competitive advantage.

To allow us to understand the requirements of customers in our chosen vertical markets, we have developed a comprehensive analytical approach through which we determine short, mid and long-term industry trends. At the core of this approach is QAD's customer Insights Program where representative customers from all of our chosen industries provide QAD with insight into their industry's trends and specific requirements.  We complement this with participation in specific industry development groups and participation in industry associations and standards bodies.
