Financial Results
Revenues of £21.5m (H1 2011: £23.7m)
Adjusted* profit before tax £1.0m (H1 2011: £2.3m)
Loss before tax of £0.6m (H1 2011: Loss £0.04m) after £0.6m (H1 2011: £0.7m) of exceptional items
Adjusted* basic earnings per share 2.2p (H1 2011: 6.4p)
The Group had net debt of £9.9m at the end of the period (30 November 2010: £11.6m; 31 May 2011: £10.5m)
Disposals since half year end have reduced current net debt to £4.2m
(*before amortisation of intangibles, share-based payments, and exceptional items).
January 10th, 2012: Maxima, the leading IT business systems and managed services company, has been selected by global engineering and construction group Kentz to implement an integrated, next generation CRM solution based on core Microsoft Dynamics® CRM 2011, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft business analytics software. Kentz’s Maxima solution will be rolled out worldwide and will provide the firm with powerful business development, project tracking and knowledge management capabilities across its international operations.

November 15th, 2011: Maxima, the leading IT business systems and managed services company, has secured a major multi-million pound contract from Hewden - the UK’s largest multi-product specialist equipment rental company - to deliver a next generation integrated business management and CRM solution. The project will see Hewden deploy a more agile, integrated ERP and CRM approach based on Microsoft Dynamics® AX and Microsoft Dynamics® CRM 2011 software, along with sector-specific application solutions from Maxima’s own Microsoft Dynamics for the Construction Industry portfolio, including specialist HR, equipment rental and cross-hire capabilities.
