London's largest minicab service selects Maxima for major SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence project

Maxima to implement SAP BusinessObjects EDGE Business Intelligence solution to provide real-time information and role-based dashboards for Addison Lee

Maxima, the leading IT business systems and managed services company, has won a contract from Addison Lee, London's largest minicab service, to implement a powerful business intelligence solution based on SAP BusinessObjects Edge technology. The new Maxima-developed business intelligence solution will provide account teams and sales management staff at Addison Lee with real time insight into the 24/7 operation of the company's fleet of 3,000 vehicles, as well as visibility of performance levels being achieved for its 10,000 corporate account customers.

Addison Lee is committed to using state-of-the-art technology to optimise the performance of its core business processes, as well as the latest navigational and scheduling tools to reduce dead mileage and reduce their CO2 emissions. Working with Maxima to implement SAP BusinessObjects at its central London headquarters will provide executive and operational managers with comprehensive, role-based real-time dashboards, allowing them to drill-down for further details, carry out root-cause analysis, as well as generating daily information and alerts on specific operational performance issues.

"We've achieved our leadership position through the systematic application of best practice technology at every stage of our business, securing performance improvement on a continuous, fraction-by-fraction basis. Applying business intelligence to our operations management was a logical choice," commented Peter Ingram, Addison Lee's IT Director. "Our business is growing rapidly, so we needed an enterprise-class business intelligence solution. When Maxima introduced us to SAP BusinessObjects Edge, we immediately saw that it would be possible for us to secure all the benefits of SAP BusinessObjects in a cost-effective package that was backed by Maxima's own specialist expertise."

"Maxima is working closely with the team at Addison Lee to implement SAP BusinessObjects Edge, and provide access to key features such ad-hoc, interactive and self-service reports as well as web analytics. We're also supporting them with the deployment of role-specific business intelligent dashboards, and will also provide them with full consultancy, training and support services," added Maxima Chief Executive Officer, Graham Kingsmill. "We're delighted that a technology leader such as Addison Lee selected Maxima as its Business Intelligence partner, showing not only the strength of our end-to-end business intelligence capability, but also our proven expertise in key solutions such as SAP BusinessObjects."

Maxima's Business Intelligence activities are part of the company's Business Solutions operation that operates a dedicated Business Intelligence practice offering full end-to-end delivery of SAP, Microsoft and Oracle business intelligence solutions, including analysis, design, delivery and support.
