Objectives of the role, Responsibilities
Maxima Support and Enablement Services, Maxima’s largest operating division is now looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to provide DBA project consultancy and managed service support for multiple Maxima clients.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable Oracle DBA experience, with emphasis on the full range of DBA duties (design, installation, configuration, large systems deployment, evaluation, planning and implementation of latest features, use of high availability solutions, full range of backup and recovery solutions, SQL, database and OS performance tuning, problem troubleshooting, communication of best advice, scripting, selection and deployment of appropriate system management tools for monitoring).
This is a managed service support & consultancy role, based in Theale, but with a requirement for consulting assignments throughout the UK – Flexibility is required. The successful candidate will have a similar background and be an independent self starter with excellent client-facing communication skills. There will also be a requirement to provide oncall dba tasks, as part of a team. Additional skills in Unix system administration, and other Oracle technologies including middleware would be an advantage.

Essential experience:
- 10g/11g upgrades and implementation

Position Description:
The Business Solutions Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Market Development and Communications.
The Business Solutions Marketing Manager works hand-in-hand with our sales teams to deliver programs that bring value to customers and prospects. The role must drive strong lead generation activity and results and demonstrate increased revenue/margin for Maxima. In this role, the Business Solutions Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creative and the operational aspects of effective campaign development/deployment. He/She takes ownership from initial concept through to implementation and execution. This person is also responsible for detailed return on marketing investment (ROMI) measurement and reporting.
The responsibilities include managing the marketing relationship with SAP, Oracle and Microsoft across a broad range of lead generation activities including: demand generation, webinars, seminars, trade shows, partner marketing events, customer-specific events and regional customer gatherings. It is a highly visible role. The candidate is expected to have considerable interaction with customers, vendors, partners and other employees at every level of the organisation.
This is an ideal role for an experienced, highly motivated, proactive and creative professional who is skilled in partner marketing management, lead generation, BI, CRM and ERP. The right candidate must have a solid marketing track record that demonstrates the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities and exhibit poise and grace under pressure.
The role will have a focus of 60% Microsoft and 40% BI.
The Business Solutions Marketing Manager should enjoy working in a highly creative, fast passed, exciting environment. This person will possess proven abilities to multi-task, organize, prioritise and problem-solve, juggle multiple deadlines simultaneously and be resourceful and operationally strong.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide strategic planning and deploy industry best practices across marketing activities, including (but not limited to): advertising, direct response, telemarketing and other pre/post event promotions; meeting planning; program development; customer list acquisition; predictive customer segmentation; collateral and prospect incentives.

Qualifications
- Extensive, directly relevant hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing department of a high-tech company
- Strong BI, ERP and CRM experience
- Must be an expert in and have a solid track record in designing and executing database marketing strategies
- Proven project management skill
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills
- Diligent work ethic and high energy level
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with CRM tools highly desired
- Must have worked in a high-tech role marketing supporting sales previously

Maxima are looking for a Network & Voice Engineer to join our existing Unified Communications team. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications products including Unified Communications Manager, Unified Communications Manager Express, Unity and Unity Express. A minimum of 5 years experience is requested but this will be overlooked for the exceptional candidate. The role is a hands-on technical one with responsibility for the day to day running of the Unified Communications platform, including troubleshooting customer issues and enhancements to the platform.
The successful candidate will be dynamic, proactive and able to work as part of the team as well as unsupervised. Capable of performing research to identify required solutions and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. The candidate will be customer focused with excellent problem solving ability and will be qualified to CCVP level looking to progress to CCIE.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The day-to-day operations of the system including troubleshooting and serving as an escalation contact for Unified Communications support issues. The day-to-day operation and maintenance of Cisco Unified CallManager, Unity, Cisco routers, Cisco switches and Covergence SBC platforms. The role will also require the candidate to be involved in new Unified Communications projects at the pre-sales, implementation and support levels.
Essential qualifications and knowledge:
